Review of Love 'Till Death (2009) by Alecs M — 29 Aug 2009
Que gacha! What was announced as "the mexican film of the summer" was just a story as full of cliches as that announcement. If it is the first time you see a love story, maybe you'll enjoy it. If not, maybe you might see comming all the things that happen (the title itself tell you the story) The cliches are everywere: the mob boss who behaves as a very educated nice man that "knows everything" but is a motherfucker, the forbidden beautiful girl who is a little whore because "she is very latin", the rich guy that "finds himself" after a dark past and finds love. Even the good witch that seems evil at the beggining and the good amigo are included. The story shows nothing new and has no sign of intelligence. But the beach scenes are great.
