Review of Love the Beast (2009) by Chris B — 24 Feb 2013

I stumbled across this documentary while looking at car photos. I agree with the reviews: non-car people won't get much out of it and Bana's ego does seem to be a driving force behind the project, but I still like it.

I happen to like cars and Ford Falcons in particular, so I'm sure my tastes enhance my enjoyment of this work. I think Bana tells a moderately compelling story and the ending is as good as many movie endings created by more experienced production teams.

You can tell he's learned a thing or two about movie production during his years in the biz. Jeremy Clarkson is his usual humorous and blunt self.
