SPOILER: Boy meets girl. Boy and girl are happy. Girl gets unnamed disease. Doctors do jack shit. Girl dies. Boy is sad.
And the point is?
With all the emotional depth of a Lassie film, this is one of those movies, like Babel, which are specifically designed to make people cry.
