This movie is sweet, funny, and cheerful. At last! A coming out story that isn't overly sad or depressing. Is it a bit unrealistic? Sure, but what movie isn't? These characters are love-able and Simon is worth rooting for.
Gay teens (and adults) of the modern world finally have the happy, gay, romantic movie they've been waiting for. Bravo to the creative team.
