I'm sorry but this film is boring. It's like every other mediocre, forgettable coming of age story only now he likes boys. It might be that I just HATE teenage romance films but this movie wasn't anything special to me.
I get the significance of the film politically but if that's all your movie has to offer I'm going to tune out.
