Review of Love, Rosie (2014) by Paul K — 17 Jan 2017
Bubblegum for the soul. It's a genre piece about 'true lovers' missing each other time after time, until the resolution. It's been brought up-to-date and grittified, with single parenthood, adultery and several failed marriages.
It's still silly though, with a plot that doesn't really work and too many all-too-beautiful young things in the centre of the action. Nice and easy on the eye and mind, just right for a dull January night.
But not in any way serious.
