Review of Love Me Tender (1956) by Heather M — 05 Apr 2008
Too bad Presley didn't make more movies like this. Good solid western with good performances by Richard Egan, Debra Page and bad guy Aaron Neville. This is the only time Elvis does die on screen and the only time he was married at the beginning of the picture.
Only four songs and all of fun to watch especially the title track. Quite bittersweet and just about the best movie he ever made.
