Review of Love Me Tender (1956) by Michaela B — 09 Mar 2009
This was the third Elvis Presley film I have watched in its entirety. (SPOILER) This was Elvis's acting debut and his only on-screen demise. The film is slightly confusing unless you really pay attention.
There is tons of character conflicts with numerous characters such as the Reno brothers, the Federales, the women, and so forth. The film's plot is steady and Elvis shows promise and potential as an actor.
I especially liked Richard Egan (Vance Reno)'s character. His character is definitely a true and respectful gentleman. I could definitely watch this film over and over again...
