Review of Love Me or Leave Me (2013) by Ruth L — 16 Aug 2008
Never thought I'd pick a movie directed by Charles Vidor as one of my all time favorites. But this movie has an excellent screenplay and even better Doris Day playing maybe her only bitch role. She and Cagney are a perfect match as two people who just want to use each other.
Not sure how much truth there is to the story of real life singer Ruth Etting. But that doesn't matter. Just enjoy watching Day and Cagney.
