Review of Love Me, Love My Doll (2007) by Brian B — 24 Sep 2007

To my surprise I didn't totally hate Guys and Dolls as I was expecting to do so. This is probably mostly to be attributed to the outstanding performances given by Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. I normally find musicals reprehensable, especially Broadway musicals.

This one however is tolerable. The set designs are quite good and the story is really pretty good as well. The movie is a bit long, I would recommend breaking it off into two sections because God knows the average person can only take so much.

But overall it's halfway decent and worth a shot if you're into this sort of thing. Overall 3.0/4 Stars Grade = B.
