Review of Love Me If You Dare (2003) by Heba S — 10 Mar 2009
Quite disappointing but entertaining none the less...the cinematography was AMAZINGLY creative & I love any film with Marion Cotillard in it! She's my gurl! And to see her on screen with her gorgeous lover Guillaume Canet made it THAT much better.
They were adorable together & there were certainly some fun moments but my gosh this movie is so unrealistic (okay, I love unrealistic but this was just childish, ridiculous & immature the things they did as adults!) but I guess that's what made it funny but to me.
...the ending was sad...not at all satisfying. I see why they made that decision but I thought it was stupid & really sad & selfish of them to leave their loved ones but I guess they really loved each other all along (which is why they shouldn't have been so idiotic & dramatic in the first place to leave each other that long!!) This film had its moments but was ultimately disappointing.
