THe French sure have creativity down. The colors and half reality/ half dream world that you find in other French films really pulls you in. Because one can be so immersed in the beauty of thhe film, you're will to overlook some plot holes and weakness in character.
You never quite understand why these two characters are torching themselves so by not letting them be together. THe performances (for what character they were given) were very good. THe kids were adorable and very talented as young actors.
ANd Marion Cotillard is always amazing. If you enjoyed Amelia (who didn't) then you will like this movie as well.
