Review of Love Me If You Dare (2003) by Dany L — 04 Aug 2012
This is a hard one to review - there is some innovative cinematic stuff here clearly inspired by other French films like Amà (C)lie. And, as usual, the presence of a young Marion Cotillard makes this worth your time.
Positives out of the way, these are some of the hardest characters to root for despite their challenging backgrounds. I'm all for complex characters, but these two seem only mean and spiteful until their bitter, bitter end.
As endings go this one is a whopper of weird. You have officially been dared to watch this film.
