Actors read from Marilyn Monroe's letters and diaries (many recently unearthed from storage), and from books and letters written about her by other famous people (Norman Mailer, George Cukor, etc.).
Moving, if you find MM's story sad already, and Arthur Miller comes off as an asshole, but a self-aware one. Uma Thurman overemotes; everyone else (even blond LIndsay Lohan) comes off pretty well.
