Review of Love Liza (2002) by Caleb M — 16 Jan 2009
An exceptional little film. This film works as both a vehicle for Philip Seymour Hoffman, who gives a captivating and emotional performance, and a quiet and minimalist look at depression and mourning. This is one of those films that recieved some mild reviews but didn't cause much of a stir, but is worth watching for Hoffman.
