Deep down, Love Lies Bleeding is a True Romance clone sporting two of the dumbest love birds running from bad guys with guns and a bag full of dirty money while in search of a better life together. When was the last good Christian Slater film? I really can't remember.
This is not going to restart his career either. It's recycled garbage that we have seen too many times in too many different variations of the same story. Not a recommend and not worth my time dissecting in a review.
