This may very well be the most romantic film I've ever seen. It's not sentimental or juvenile. It's adult, complex and the perfect date movie with one's spouse. It's great to see Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier establish herself so confidently.
It's also quite humorous to see Pierce Brosnan speak a little Danish! The actors are all top-notch especially the female lead. There's plenty of comedy but Bier certainly doesn't shy away from darker moments with plenty of awkward relationships.
The film ultimately leaves you with a feeling of absolute warmth, romance and beauty.
