My favorite movie ever. I watched it in Potsdam, Germany this summer, four times. I am in loooove! It is just the most beautiful film ever, from the cinematography to the music, and the acting...it's all superb.
I bet it would be even better if I understood the original German, rather than having to read the subtitles.
