This was an effing terrible adaptation of one of the best novels of all time. Javier Bardem and Giovanna Mezzogionrno are fantastic but the rest of the cast members all bear embarrassing "Spanish" accents.
Why is this film in English anyways? Really, why was this film even made? If you are going to adapt Love in the Time of Cholera do it right people: Spanish screenwriter, a shit ton of money and zero Benjamin Bratt.
And, seriously, why do people just want to ugly up Javier Bardem with bad haircuts? Seriously.
