Visually I found this movie to be absolutely wonderful. The lush greens and hues of orange drew me right into the scenario. Very seldom does a movie based upon a book ever truly capture the essence of the book.
Love in the Time of Cholera is no different. It starts strong, gets a little choppy in the middle like a script with a blindfold, but finishes strong. Bratt, Schreiber, Mezzogiorno and Leguizamo all put in noteworthy performances.
