Look, I would never have seen this of my own free will. But, that's what marriage does to you. For a "chick flick," it wasn't bad, about unrequited love spanning a lifetime. Good cast, good performances.
Not sure the relevance of the whole "cholera" epidemic other than as a backdrop to the whole thing. My biggest problem is that I couldn't watch Javier Bardem without picturing him being parodied in the SNL "I Drink Your Milkshake" sketch.
