Review of Love in the Afternoon (1957) by Gabriel K — 19 Jan 2010
Some films feel fresh even though they come from a very different age that has long gone. This is definitely one of them. Audrey Hepburn and Gary Cooper make perfect protagonists here, thanks to the keen eye of Billy Wilder.
Actually, Cooper is filmed here in dark shadows most of the time to hide his aging. A memorable and engaging film that is also sentimental and timeless.
