Review of Love, Honour and Obey (2000) by M M B — 05 Nov 2008
This is the second movie Jude Law was involved with that included pretty much the same cast using their own names. The first was 'Final Cut,' and 'Love, Honour and Obey' is the better of the two.
And what works about it is how mundane and ridiculous the world of organized crime looks in it. Gangsters shoot at each other and call time off just to ask why they're shooting in the first place! It's refreshing and, thanks to Ray Winstone (always dependable as the jaded gangster), quite funny.
