Not quite sure why this was savaged so much by critics - - I found this to be a very adult and well acted film that, while formulaic, was entertaining enough based on strong performances to keep you occupied for 2 hours.
Yep...it gets a bit saccharine toward the end...but it's a romantic drama...what did you expect? Eckhart is one of our stronger leading men...I wish he'd become a star already.
