Review of Love Happens (2009) by Jenny C — 24 Feb 2010
I didn't like it. Not because it was awful, but because it could not decide what it wanted to be. On one hand it was trying to be a chick flick, but on the other it was trying to be one of those sad films with a nice meaning to it.
It should not of had Jennifer Anniston in it, she was too big for the part that she played, she didn't fit the part at all. However, the supporting actor, can not remember his name but he was in Good Luck Chuck and Balls of Fury, was surprisingly good in a serious role.
Other than that, it just tried to hard, it was just like they wanted to put Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Anniston in a film together and quickly through two scripts together. Messy.
