It is equally important to understand both what Love Happens IS and what Love Happens IS NOT.
Despite marketing and expectations, Love Happens IS NOT a romantic-comedy.
Love Happens IS a story about Aaron Eckhart's personal struggle to live his life after the death of his wife, all while, achieving success by helping others...live their lives after the loss of a loved one. All this is enjoyably interesting...but chances are this isn't why you turned to Love Happens.
So be warned husbands: DO NOT rent Love Happens in an attempt to satisfy Romantic-Comedy's place in the give-and-take cycle of movie night.
