Review of Love, Gilda (2018) by Scott L — 01 Oct 2018
I grew up watching Saturday Night Live and when I heard this film was screening here in New York, I jumped at the chance to see it, and I was not disappointed. The film is a thoughtful and caring history of Gilda Radner, her life, her success, her struggles - and it is fun, poignant, and memorable.
My hat goes off to the director, Lisa Dapolito, for her thoughtful process in bringing this film from an idea to the big screen for all of us to share and enjoy. It is truly wonderful.
