Ludivine sagnier and kristin scott thomas are both fantastic in this french thriller. their intense performances propel and pulse through this sinister tale of hardcore corporate ladder climbing. with all the cringe-worthy deceit, backstabbing, manipulation, and mind-tricks that entails. while the plot becomes highly intricate and complex as the stakes are increasingly raised, close examination yields no missteps of logic. henceforth, total suspension of disbelief is not required - a prerequisite for upper echelon drama within this genre. nice pacing, direction, and superb acting combine for a 'seat-of-your-pants' gripping little film.
Make it a blockbuster night!
