This would have been somewhat better had they got a better actress playing the role of Isabelle. Kristin Scott Thomas was really good as the manipulative boss out to ruin her protege's chances of success but there was a lot of hammy acting from the younger actress that just took away any sympathy we were supposed to have for her.
US remakes usually pale in comparison to the European originals but I'm looking forward to Brian De Palma's movie because with the right actresses this could be a decent thriller.
