I haven't read the book but got this movie from our local library! I really enjoyed it. Acting was good, story was sweet, with just a nice touch of religion. It deals with the age old question of "how does a God so loving let bad things happen to good people.

" It also shows a romance doesn't need to have any kissing in it to be good; it is about the characters and the push and pull between them.
