Visiting one of my favorite sexy actresses (Famke Janssen) with my review of "Love & Sex.".

The story is about Kate Welles, a writer for a relationship magazine. When she needs to write a "non-depressing" article she is forced to think through her past relationships in order to find some inspiration.

I honestly never in a million years would've thought that I would like a movie like this. I usually despise lovey-dovey stuff. Kate Welles is a very depressing girl who looks on life as just a miserable hour glass slowly wasting away... and I can agree with that. Her several trysts with men are funny and quite realistic. Her issues with commitment and ability to find the bastards out of the bunch keep her from having a real relationship. It's one of those movies that keeps itself basic, so when the characters laugh, you yourself laugh with them. I found Jon Favreau's character quite entertaining and relatable. The film just seems like a camera following a girl with issues through her many male encounters. It was quite enjoyable and never made me look away from the terrible cheese or over-drama. A nice simple flick without the grandiose or heartfelt connections of big-buck films, but still something you can see with any chick friends you may have. Love & Sex scores 6.5 times out of 10.

P.s. for those of you dudes (or chicks) out there just looking for some tit-filled, porn-grade flick: pass over this one. I was a bit surprised too.
