The film doesn't really work. The love interest is somewhat scuppered by Jake Gyllenhaal's inability to be convincing as an angry man. But Anne Hathaway steals the show. Her performance elevates the movie to something worthwhile.
Also she gets naked. Quite a lot. This is a chick flick designed with man rewards.
