Review of Love & Other Drugs (2010) by Ron C — 02 Sep 2011
I was iffy about seeing this. Had heard the talk about Anne Hathaway, a symbol of chastity, taking it all off and was (to be honest) mildly interested in that but not enough to actually move it into my Netflix queue. Then I heard something about the drug rep/ Parkinsons and that spiked my motivation to at least put it on the queue.
And I have to say, knowing some will totally disagree, I quite enjoyed it. At least it does something different (amongst many cliches) by introducing a serious illness without granting a miracle cure. Plus it was laugh out funny at times. Even if I didn't completely buy the relationship between Jamie and his brother, it did provide a comic relief.
If you are still wondering, yes Hathaway takes it all off several times and...she's hot.
