Review of Love & Other Drugs (2010) by Alissa W — 22 Jan 2012
"Edward Zwick (big fan of his) takes a different road (he typically makes these amazing true story history movies we've never heard about) making a movie about pharmaceutical industry: Love & Other Drugs.
I liked this movie, it was funny, well-acted and sad. Jake Gyllenhaal is great as Jamie here but Anne Hathaway (one of my fave actresses in hollywood) gives one of the best performances of her career as Maggie, a very free-spirited patient who has Parkinson's Disease who loves to have sex.
The (always dependable) Judy Greer, Josh Gad, Hank Azaria & Oliver Platt are good in their respective supporting roles. Love and Other Drugs is a very good flick, surprised how much I enjoyed it.".
