Review of Love and Other Disasters (2006) by Sorcha D — 14 Jan 2011

I was really surprised by all of the negative reviews on this movie as, quite honestly, it's one of my favorite of all time. There doesn't always appear to be a big overarching plot and there's no big climax moment but that's one of things I liked about it.

It flows like real life and with the characters constantly breaking down the fourth wall, you really start to feel like you are getting to look through a window into the lives of its characters. Deeper than you'd expect from your average romantic comedy and unlike others in its genre, it won't leave you feeling empty by the end.
