The dano stuff is great but the cusak stuff stinks - that part of the script is redundant as written and the actors have nothing compelling to do for that reason (also, all three principals in the 80s material are phoning it in).
This could have been two good movies, but it's one boring one with occasional high spots (dano in the studio).
