Absolutely brilliant, sensitively enacted and created with deep sympathy and insight. It's good to know this was made with the blessing of Brian Wilson and his wife Melinda. Speaking as a musician / producer, the studio scenes (which most films get horribly wrong) are incredibly realistic and allow us to follow the extraordinary methods (involving a fair bit of creative trial and error :) by which Wilson created his sublime pop masterpieces.
