Classic story with a somewhat racy twist for Victorian times. Faithful adaptation of the Jane Austen novella. Reminds me of the Merchant Ivory films of a few years back; period costumes, good story, etc.
Definitely a 'date movie'; no gratuitous sex and violence. It seems the english nobility spent quite a bit of time walking and talking...I'm ready for an action film now...
