Review of Love & Friendship (2016) by Paul G — 01 Jun 2016
This film looks like they started to make an eight part mini-series but then decided to edit it into a movie. Important characters to the plot are given insignificant roles in the film. One important character, the lead's lover, is seen throughout the film just standing around; I'm not sure he ever utters a line.
Other characters are tossed in momentarily to do their little bit. In the end everyone ends up happy even the arrogant asses and the blatantly evil. This includes the only character that can charitably be called appealing, an idiot, who is happy but a cuckold, his wife's lover living in his house.
