Review of Love & Friendship (2016) by Stephanie B — 26 Jun 2016
It was a relief to find the audience on the side of the manipulative, scheming protagonist most of the film, but there's only so much drama you can squeeze out of polite walks around a garden and stilted conversation.
Tries to add punch and style to a plot that doesn't contain much movement at all - and then suddenly all at once.
