Whit Stillman adapts Jane Austen's epistolary novel Lady Susan into distinctive social satirical of the 1790s. Love & Friendship is an absolute treat and delight, especially to watch the Kate Beckinsale character, Susan Vernon brilliantly manipulates those around her through a mixture of intelligence, elegance, and fox-like cunning.
