While I definitely felt I was in the time period Love & Friendship conveys on screen, I wasn't particularly enthralled by it. the costumes are great, the set pieces are beautiful, again it felt like I was there.

this movie just didn't do for me. I wanted to really love this one, but I was massively disappointed. it felt like I was watching a play, the directing seemed a little to theatrical and I really felt I was sitting and watching a play.

Kate Beckinsale is great, it has a good script, but I just really was not a fan of this one, unfortunately.
