First I have to say I love Whit Stillman's writing and it was a pleasure to meet him at the opening screening of this film in Bryn Mawr. A period film with.

Everything one could want in terms of a good story and great dialog and acting.

I am going to be crude here, this is as always intelligently written including.

Stillman's usual biting sarcasm. I laughed my ass off. Love and Friendship isn't.

A film for everyone but it was a film for me and I am sure all of the other film.

Snobs like myself will rate the film very high. It is unfortunate that the what I.

Have been told 'millenniums' are so filled up with CGI and action that they do.

Not have the patience nor the insight as to how people spoke or acted in.

Another Historical period. Spoiler. This film offers no fast cars, no explosions,.

No murders, no major action. So most of you out there will not have enough.

Patience to sit through it because it just doesn't offer that adrenaline rush that.

You require in order to like a film. Kate Beckinsale is absolutely wonderful it's.

Early yet but I am calling her role Oscar nomination worthy, Cloe Sevigny is.

Also just great. I found the film to be the best I have seen so far this year and I.

Have seen many many films thus far. Hopefully you will get it but you must be.

Familiar with the English language it is a requirement for this film! I am holding.

Both thumbs up Way to go Whit!
