This had all the trimmings for a fun Austen movie, but Beckinsale's Lady Susan lacks a pleasant enough spark to make her calculating behavior more enjoyable, and Sevigny's presence sucks the life out of every scene she's in.
I just found this movie tiresome any time Tom Bennett wasn't on the screen.
