This will seem less silly if you've seen a Bergman film or (surprisingly) read a Dostoyevsky novel, which its more interested in, this movie will seem less silly. It is silly, but its making fun of Dostoyevsky some of the time too.
Good fun. I like the Prokofiev music too.
