Review of Love and Death (2013) by Adrian B — 16 Sep 2007
A classic. Woody's favorite to make, though he never watches his own movies. But his enjoyment of the subect is obvious in the quality of the film. It is at once outragously silly and extremely intelligent satire, with neither suffering from the pressence of the other.
Even if you don't get the references to Russian litrature or Swedish films, it remains an extremly funny and enjoyable film. And Woody and Diane Keaton are as good as ever.
