Review of Love and Death (2013) by Chris S — 22 Sep 2007
Completely hilarious and absolutely silly. I loved watching this movie, and seeing a very young Woody Allen do something I hadn't seen in a while: just let it all go and have fun with it. Now this movie probably isn't for everyone.
Some might think it is too dumb, others might have a problem with it being too obvious. However, all the film and literary references (everything from Tolstoy to Bergman's 'Persona') sort make this the thinking manâ??s Mel Brooks comedy.
