Disappointing remake of a classical love story. Probably best remembered in the Cary Grant-version called An Affair to Remember, though the 1939-version starring Irene Dunne is far superior. Warren Beatty and Annette Bening are real life couple but it is the few moments with Katherine Hepburn (her last great moments on screen) that justifies the film.
