Review of Love Actually (2003) by Gabrielle C — 29 Dec 2012
Love Actually is one of those films that gets better with each viewing. At first watch I found it hard to connect to so many stories but with each viewing I find a new favourite and there really are many strong stories that I can connect to from only a few scenes now.
It's just a shame that the central story between Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon is the weakest. Personal favourites are the ones involving Colin Firth and the Portuguese girl, Laura Linney and her brother and Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson.
It's a bit of a Christmas classic.
