Review of Lottery Ticket (2010) by Miguel P — 21 Jan 2011
No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't give this negative review, trust me I tried I just couldn't.
I won't spend much time on this but the film involves around a young kid named Kevin played by Bow Wow who lives with his grandmother and has a best friend named Benny played Brandon T. Jackson who played Alpa Chino in Tropic Thunder. The film is about how Kevin wins the lottery but the lottery offices are closed until Tuesday. So he has three days of the whole entire neighborhood of vultures trying to get at him with the ticket, including gang members.
The movie is earnest and the moral part of the story is their and it was pretty funny at times and you know it wasn't that bad it was all right. Yeah it has stereotypes and clichés but I felt it was good hearted.
If nothing else is on and I mean if nothing else is on, like if there showing Spongebob and this is on another channel I would pick Spongebob you can't go wrong on Sponge bob.
MP *** 3/5.
